Decks is a powerful flashcard app that uses spaced repetition to help you learn and remember anything. Whether you're studying languages, preparing for exams, or memorizing any information, Decks optimizes your study sessions for maximum retention.

How It Works

• Create Decks: Organize your flashcards into decks by topic or subject.

• Add Cards: Create cards with a front (question) and back (answer).

• Study Smart: Our spaced repetition algorithm shows you cards right when you're about to forget them.

• Rate Your Recall: Swipe to rate each card (Again, Hard, Good, Easy) and the algorithm adjusts accordingly.

What is spaced repetition?

Spaced repetition is a learning technique that schedules reviews at increasing intervals. Cards you know well are shown less frequently, while difficult cards are shown more often. This scientifically-proven method maximizes retention while minimizing study time.

How do the ratings work?

After seeing a card's answer, rate how well you remembered it:

• Again: You didn't remember - card will be shown again soon
• Hard: You remembered with difficulty - shorter interval
• Good: You remembered correctly - normal interval
• Easy: You remembered instantly - longer interval

What are the daily limits?

Free users can review up to 50 cards per day. Premium subscribers have unlimited daily reviews. Daily limits reset at midnight in your local timezone.

How do AI hints work?

When you're stuck on a card, tap the Hint button to get an AI-generated mnemonic or memory trick. The AI learns from your feedback to provide increasingly helpful hints over time.

Do I need an account?

No! You can start using Decks immediately without creating an account. Your data is stored locally and synced anonymously. If you want to sync across devices or secure your data, you can create an account in Settings.
